A few months ago we were heartbroken and with the heaviest of hearts we announced the passing of Ray Adler, who left us peacefully during the month of July.  Ray was generous, caring and selfless, and valued his family above all else (except perhaps Manchester United). But he always made time to offer ongoing support to The Frost Foundation. We think the words of Wendy Veevers perfectly sums up the special bond that our Chairman Ray brought to the charity –
“When my Dad passed 25 years ago I not only lost a parent I lost my friend. I didn’t know who to turn to but then my friend Ray Adler stepped into that mould. Ray was my confident, my advisor & more than anything my friend. He was always there for me, always had my back and I loved him for that. He was there at my wedding, at the hospital when Jack was born, saw me through the sad times & the great times ! He was a fantastic chairman of the Frost Foundation. I would never have trusted anyone else with that role. I have wonderful memories of so many special times spent with him, so many laughs & a few tears. We both enjoyed some good red wine & lots of chats about our beloved United – Most important to me was his unconditional friendship. I loved him dearly. RiP Ray, you will be so missed xx We take great comfort in knowing that he has been reunited with his daughter Jamie.”  Our thoughts & prayers are with Maria & Alex and will stay with you forever and always – we are always here for you xx
