Wendy

Daughter, sister, Mum, Grandma

Always been passionate about fundraising, especially for children. From when I worked in a children’s home when I was 20 years old. We had very little so I raised money to buy a caravan in Lancashire to take the kids, along with a minibus to transport them. Then I formed a small charity called Save a Babe to buy neonatal equipment. I went on to work at a big Manchester based charity but got very disillusioned & wanted to get back to grass roots fundraising’ So in 2009 I left & formed the Frost Foundation in memory of my parents. This charity supports local children & families and I am extremely proud of the work we do.

Along the way I worked on Testimonial committees for 7 different Manchester United footballers.

The Frost Foundation is my passion. I love the fact that we make a difference to so many local children’s lives.

My favourite superheroes are my Frosties. Not all heroes wear capes & my girls pull out all the stops in their own time for the Foundation

I have NO hidden talents – what you see is what you get from me.

On a Sunday Morning you can usually found me doing chores at home & preparing a roast dinner for my family.

Goals for 2024 – to spend more time with my granddaughter making precious memories
